Do I need a credit card to start the free trial?
No. You can sign up and use all features for 14 days without entering any payment information. At the end of your trial, you can choose a plan or your account will be paused.
Can I import my existing customers and quotes?
You can add customers manually or they are created automatically when you build a quote. We are building CSV import for customers and parts in a future update.
Does Quotara work for my type of shop?
Quotara is built for job shops — CNC machining, metal fabrication, welding, custom parts, and tooling. If you quote custom jobs, track them on the floor, and want to understand job costs, Quotara is a fit.
Does it integrate with QuickBooks?
Yes. Quotara syncs invoices and customer records with QuickBooks Online on the Professional and Scale plans. You create the invoice in Quotara and it pushes automatically to QBO.
Can multiple people use it at the same time?
Yes. All plans support multiple users. Your estimator, supervisor, and operators can all log in simultaneously and see the same jobs in real time. You control what each person can see and do based on their role.
How is my data protected?
Your data is stored in a Canadian or US-based data centre with encryption at rest and in transit. Each shop's data is completely isolated — no other user can ever see your quotes or customers. We comply with PIPEDA, Canada's federal privacy law.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled any time — you keep access until the end of your billing period. Annual plans are non-refundable but can be cancelled to prevent renewal.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation, during which time you can export everything or reactivate. After 30 days it is permanently deleted.
